Makeup trends I’m definitely wearing this spring! Check out my favorite makeup looks and how to-s!
This make up tricks guys into thinking you’re a natural beauty. HA!
The key here is flawless skin, so a good foundation with a medium to heavy coverage is essential. Use a brush for an “airbrushed” finish. Then, conceal, conceal, conceal! Finish off with a mineral foundation, which I find very suitable for Singapore’s humid weather!
For the eyes, use a light copper tone on the eyelids, and take a warm brown colour and dust it along the crease and along the lower lash line. Use dark brown pencil eyeliner to line your eyes or wet your eyeshadow and use it as a liner!
To make your eyes look doe-like and fresh, use a beige liner; apply to the inner corners of your eyes and your waterline. Lastly, cut a small strip of lashes and apply to the outer corners of your upper lashline!
Finish this look with caramel cheeks and berry-stained lips! YUM!
Colour POP
Bright pops of colours can add a jazz to every outfit given the right occasion and amount! And who doesn’t enjoy the attention once in a while eh?

Ok I admit, this make up is runway worthy but if you sport this look, people will go, “WA! So wayang ah?” Instead of filling up the entire lid up to the crease with colour, just swap your usual eyeliner from black to something shocking. Such as an electric blue! My favourite is the Urban Decay Flipside but there are cheaper alternatives you can get at Sephora for like half the price. I’m just saying.
Alternately, for a subtle edgy look, line your upper lash line with your usual black liner and go for a colour pop for your lower lashline. Try colours like green and blue which complements our brown eyes!
This trend leads on to another of my favorites this season. Colour pop on your lips! Corals, fushia and orange-red are the “go-to” colours this season, especially if they’re matt!

I would suggest a neutral eye with falsies at the outer corners, glowy skin then a colour pop at the lips! NICE!
The Smokey-Eye
The smokey-eye never goes out of style. Chanel’s make up artist Philips describes this look; "It's a dark eye, with dark iridescence," I’m thinking it looks like the wings of a butterfly!

For a daytime look, why not try a brown smokey eye instead. Sported by Keira Knightley at the Chanel fashion show.
