Our Favourites of S/S 2011

Spring summer 2011 is an evil collection for us Singaporeans. Every collection has pieces that screams "TAKE ME HOME!!" because it's actually practical in our climate. *gasp* With our measly salary (ours at least) we probably have to save for months to get that 1 piece of heaven........ so while we stave for the sake of fashion, here are some of the items we wish were hanging in our closet NOW!

Alrik’s Top Picks from Michael Bastian, Bottega Veneta and Etro:

Michael Bastian

Don’t you just love the simplicity yet unique design of the jacket. Yes it’s a jacket and trunk. Two pieces not one. Haha!
Michael Bastian

Who says black and yellow turns you into a bee? Paired with the right outfits for a casual chic ensemble.
Bottega Veneta

Adore the olive green top which plays along boundaries (kinda literally) paired with baggy pants for that effortless look.

Etro

The printed tee brings out a quirky yet casual look and worn beneath a simple basic outerwear can create a sophisticated look.

Melissa's Top Picks from Dolce&Gabbana, Kenzo, Moschino and Christian Dior:

Dolce&Gabbana

Honestly, if I had my way, my picks would be from Dolce&Gabbana entirely. The lace compliments the white so well in a way it's innocent and pure but such a tease. LOVE IT!
Dolce&Gabbana

This was one of the first dresses that made me go "I WANT THIS!" out loud. White dresses and floral prints makes the perfect spring dress, but Dolce&Gabbana somehow managed to bring it up several notches from perfect. Sigh~
Dolce&Gabbana

The corset top with a flowy bottom makes a stunning silhouette! And those SHOES!
Kenzo

I love layering, I love the earthy look and I love the spring colours they used in this collection!

Moschino

I'm a sucker for quirky-ness and polka-dots! Did you guess yet? Play up polka-dots for a girly feel!  Oh, and I want those shoes.
Christian Dior

I loved how they played with bold colours and fabric in this collection! This purple chiffon dress just reminds you of a flower doesn't it! Perfect for spring!
