Couture 2011

So starts the season for Couture and Dior never fails to impress. With many more fashion houses to show their collection, the runways so far have set a benchmark to meet this year. More updates on the shows soon but for now I shall leave you with   Karlie Kloss   who opened the Dior show.

30% of the shows at Mens Fashion Week would be open to public!! We are new and probably not important enough to get invites so along with the rest of Singapore, we would have to fight to be the few who have to BUY tickets to go watch the shows. So pray HARD for us that we manage to get the tickets. Among the international brands coming here, there are a couple of Local brands that I am excited to see as well, that is IF they open up their sittings to those other than invited guests.

Pray hard for us. Or those of you who know people and can get invites for us that would be even better! :) *you can drop us an email. haha!

Etro Fall 2011

Those who know we know of my obsession with outerwear, especially jackets!! So comes the season whereby outerwear would be a staple in the fashion houses. Etro pays attention this season to the Cow, letting it be the main character in its designs from the hats to the cow-printed shoes.

Although blazers bring to mind the idea of a formal event, I simply adore the detailing on the black blazer as it brings out a sophisticated casual vibe which still maintains the class of the blazer. Very chic! Totally wearable in Singapore.

Our Favourites of S/S 2011

Spring summer 2011 is an evil collection for us Singaporeans. Every collection has pieces that screams "TAKE ME HOME!!" because it's actually practical in our climate. *gasp* With our measly salary (ours at least) we probably have to save for months to get that 1 piece of heaven........ so while we stave for the sake of fashion, here are some of the items we wish were hanging in our closet NOW!
